Twiggy and Caramel

Twiggy and Caramel, now known as Coca and Cara, have made it to Germany. As you can see running freely and enjoying themselves.
New beginning for Bambi
After spending over 5 years here with us in Malta, Bambi has finally made it to the UK with her new family Sue & Steve and Jess. She has made a lot of new friends especially when she goes for long walks in the park. One thing we did not know about her is that she is capable of opening the fridge!!! So now a child lock, or should I say doggie lock has been added to the fridge and freezer!!
Twixie

This is baby Screech when she was still with us at SPCA in June this year. She was adopted in July.

Update on Mr Spencer
Will keep you updated on his progress.
URGENT URGENT URGENT
You all remember the story of Spencer. Well his new owner came back with him today appealing for help. Mr Spencer decided to squeeze through the rooftop door and tried his flying skills! Unfortunetly his wings did not work and he has broken his knee on his back leg. He urgently requires an operation that costs can go up to Lm60 or Lm70. His owner would love to take him back. She has already taken him for x-rays. We are putting this appeal up to help us help this lady. You can either donate online via our website or send an SMS:
5061 8069 - Lm2.00 / 5061 8923 - Lm3 / 5061 9205 - Lm5
Please please help, his owner is heartbroken.
Trish
Hi I'm Trish, female mix terrier breed. I am small to medium in size and about 2-3 years old. Like all terriers I'm full of energy but very friendly and love lots of cuddles and attention. I'm waiting for you at the SPCA.
Trish has now gone to a family in Gozo!
Furby
Hi my name is Furby. I was tied to the SPCA door on a Sunday evening and wasn't found till the following morning. I was very scared and hungry. I have been at the SPCA for about 3 months now and I'm enjoying myself, especially now I have a new playmate Spencer. My size is small to medium and I am 6 months old. The 3 puppies next door to me are all going away soon as they have a family to go to. I would also like to go and live with a nice family so come and visit me in Floriana.
At last I found a home of my own!
Found a home...

This is Phoebe. Has been with us for the last 6 months. Today she went to her new home!
I'm home!!!!
I'm Spencer, Furby's friend. I was picked up from Qormi. I was injured and in a lot of pain. I couldn't walk or even sit down to eat or drink some water and this was way back in August in all that heat. This young gentleman took me to a Vet. I had 2 dislocated shoulders and believe me it was very painful. He took me to the SPCA, they gave food and water but I could't even lift my head up on my own to the drink! So every half hour this lady came near me in the kennel with a small container with water and lifted my head gently and gave me water and small bites of food. Within 2 days I could at least sit down on my own and walk a few steps. But now I'm full of energy, I can run, jump and have fun with my new friend Furby. I'm about 1 year old and I would love to live in a house with a nice garden so I can run around and have fun now I have the use of all my doggy legs!

Suzi's big day
This is how Suzi came to the SPCA, tied to the garage door with this note attached to the door. We took her to the vet where the operation was done and we discovered she still had one puppy that was alive. Unfortunately there was nothing on the note to say that she had a heart problem and nearly stopped breathing during the operation.
Her puppy, Herbie found a home and Suzi remained with us. Whenever we told people she had a heart problem and she needs to be on medication all her life, nobody wanted to take her. Until this week! We took her again for another ultrasound and the diagnosis where not very good for her. It seems her problem is getting worse, but her new family still want to take her with them and their new kitten Simba.
Here they are today, Suzi and Simba getting to know each other, before they left for their new life together.
A busy day......
Rafferty & Fudge / Matilda & George
These four lucky puppies left for Germany today. After getting their rabies shots and pet passports ready, today was their big day. As you can see from the pictures they were very relaxed at the airport while waiting for the flight!
......and more busy!
These nine kittens
came to us in June. All of them have gone to loving homes apart from 2. Topsy
and Turvy (Turvy is the one with his front paws strechted out and Topsy is right
behind him both black and white) and believe me they live up to their names!
Today was their lucky day. They went to a loving home together!
AT LAST..........

Suzi having a shower
At last our Suzi has found the perfect home, with a nice family who don't have a problem that she suffers from a heart murmur and she needs to be on medication for all her life. They came here to adopt a kitten (which they have done) and they fell in love with her. So tomorrow she will go for another ECG and Ultrasound to make sure we keep her on the right track with her medication. We will miss her very much but we are all happy that her turn has arrived to have a family that will shower her with love.
Good news today!
